Ambition & Accountability

Ambition and Accountability means demanding more and delivering more for New Orleans. It’s about imagining a city that doesn’t just catch up—but leaps forward—while making sure government follows through on its promises with transparency, consistency, and real results. We need bold ideas for the future, backed by the discipline to get the basics right and the courage to hold leadership—and ourselves—responsible every step of the way.

  • Ambition in this campaign means refusing to accept the bare minimum for New Orleans. It’s not just about catching up on deferred maintenance—we must think bigger. Ambition means designing resilient infrastructure, modernizing city services, and embracing innovation to build a thriving, equitable city. It’s about shaping the 21st century, not just surviving it.

  • Accountability means making government follow through—consistently, transparently, and with real consequences when it falls short. It’s about enforcing existing laws, delivering reliable services, and ensuring public resources serve the public. When promises are made, they should be kept—or leaders should be held to account.
